Master Lloyd Irvin and Mike Easton

CAMP SPRINGS, Md. – Mike “The Hulk” Easton is known for his mixed martial arts prowess.  According to the Ultimate Warrior Challenge (UWC) website, he captured the UWC Bantamweight World Title in 2009.  Mike is also a Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) black belt under Master Lloyd Irvin.  His martial arts training with Team Lloyd Irvin started when he first met Master Lloyd at a local restaurant.  Easton was still a teenager at the time and had achieved the rank of black belt in tae kwon do.  He wanted to try something different rather than point sparring, so he started training at Lloyd Irvin Martial Arts Academy.  Easton stated that when he started training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, it took him 6 months to achieve his blue belt under Master Lloyd Irvin.

Fast forward to 2010.  Mike Easton is a veteran martial arts instructor and is a pro MMA fighter.  He has been a full time fighter since his son, Champ Easton was born in 2007.  Since Mike Easton has experience in sport BJJ and MMA, he is able to point out the difference in effectiveness of positions and techniques while teaching his martial arts class.
