Andrew Smith, a partner in U.S. Grappling said of submission only tournaments that, ''It's the real deal. There is no controversy. Either you give up or you don't.''

STERLING, Va. – The U.S. Grappling Submission Only tournament was held this past weekend at the Dulles Sportsplex facility in northern Va. Approximately 150 competitors from the mid-atlantic region competed in the tournament that offered gi and no-gi divisions for men and women.
